As everyone else is gearing up for the holidays we are already thinking about beautiful dresses for spring! this seasons Bridal fashion week has come to an end *cries*. I know. BUT we did take away some key trends for those of you saying i do in one of the most beautiful times of the year (besides fall...i mean...lets be real). Here are our top picks for the season and trends!
1. Sheer
It's not an illusion, sheer is in and its beautiful! We are loving all the sexy femininity this brings to a dress without being too revealing at the same time. you can do sheer with embellishments, lace, stones or you can go full sheer or sheer tops or bottoms. Designers Calla Blanche and Sophia Tolli are hitting this trend with stunning sheer illusion elements teamed with stunning lace and bead work!
2. Blue dresses
Part of the old rhyme "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, stick a shilling in your shoe". there are so many cute and creative ways to include something blue in your big day, but how about a blue dress??!! I know grandma would probably have a heart attack BUT we are so in love with this magical looking spin on an old tradition!
