The changing weather can dry out your skin but we know what you need to keep your skin hydrated and healthy as well as procedures to ensure your skin is polished.

Consider switching up your routine.

Cold weather can crack and dry out your skin so by adding a crème with skin protecting ingredients (look for an oil based crème rather than water based lotion) you will be helping your skin retain its moisture. Also, you can look for lotions containing "humectants," a common skincare ingredient (including glycerin, sorbitol, and alpha-hydroxy acids) that attract moisture to your skin.

Drink plenty of H2O

It also helps your cells take in nutrients and get rid of toxins. And it helps with blood flow, keeping your skin glowing and radiant. It is easy to skip the water and go for the delicious holiday drinks but make sure you keep hydrated by drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day. We love alkaline water with a PH of 9 or higher.

Keep using an SPF year-round

Even through a cloudy layer the suns rays cause damage to our skin on a cellular level. Layering SPF with foundation or powder containing SPF is a great way to make sure you are protecting your skin from the sun and free-radical damage.

Eat healthy to get your skin glowing from the inside out

Leafy greens, vegetable oils, nuts, seeds, olives, spinach and asparagus contain vitamin E which is an amazing antioxidant that protects the skin from free-radical damage and inflammation.   We would love to see you for a free consultation to help you reach all your skincare goals!
